New day, new adventures.

Sorry I didn’t blog last night.  I’ve been trying to post something fun and interesting each night before I shut down for the night.  But having a sick child home yesterday, and a headache last night, I just wasn’t in the mood.

Now where to start.  Oh yes,, yesterday. 🙂

Well sending one child off to school, the youngest one stayed home.  She wasn’t feeling the best, sniffing and sneezing, so I kept her home.  Mind you she didn’t get much sleep last night either, but she wants to go in today.  So in she goes.

Last night, hubby and watched a new TV show called 19 2.  It’s an English version of a French show in Montreal from years ago.  It’s a great show, with LOTS of potential.  Obviously it’s a cop show.  It has a lot of new faces that I haven’t seen on TV before.  But there’s three that stands out.  Adrian Holmes, Benz Antoine and Mylene Dinh-Robic.

If you missed the premier debut Wednesday night on Bravo (I confess, I’m one of them), they show it again on CTV for the following night (which was when I actually seen it), but you can go to the Bravo website and catch up there.  Or get the Bravo Go app (which is what I’ll be doing next).

I had a massive headache last night, but I wasn’t missing this show.  Have to show support for awesome Canadian shows.  Plus it helps to have gorgeous actors, 😉

As for today, I have a list of things that I need to accomplish at some point today.  With housework, running errands, and trying to write, I really need to invest in the possibility of cloning myself.  Well if they can do it to animals, why can’t they do it for people.  Then again, I guess the reason for that is we might end up looking like the Asgards on Stargate, lol

For now, I’ll sign off.  But be sure that I’ll be back later tonight to write about the adventures I’ve gotten myself into, 🙂

Thankx for popping in.  Until next time.

Reflect on Reflecting

Time for reflection.

Yes I realize it’s not the end of the year for this, but it is almost the end of another month.  That in itself is enough reason as any to reflect on things.

Well, let’s see.  This past month I’ve successfully gotten back to the routine of getting the kids up and ready for school.  And this time I’m not a zombie when I get up in the mornings.  And for those of you who know me very well, I don’t do well with mornings.  Especially when I am so comfy in bed, dreaming away.

Then I’ve been spending the last 3 weeks looking for my exercise book where I have my next book planned out, all 16 chapters.  But to no avail, I’ve come up empty. Other then turning this house upside down and shaking the crap out of it, I’m going to need a miracle.  I’m not a religious person, but I even asked Saint Anthony for help in locating it.  Still nothing.  So unless “he” or someone else finds it and throws it at me, I might have to end up thinking what I had written down, and start over again.  *facepalm*  This could be a while.

Then I’ve been helping a friend with his new business adventure.  So this weekend, you will see what I’ve been up too.  Well providing you are going to the sci-fi convention in Corner Brook this Saturday and Sunday.  If you did go, I hope  you enjoy the shirts.

I’ll have more things to write about later, but for now I’ll just leave you on this note:  Take the time to really appreciate nature around you.  Find a quiet place, free from noises from traffic and people, to find a place where you are truly alone.  Sit down and take in all the sights and sounds around you.  Letting go of all the worries you put on yourselves on a daily basis and live in this one peaceful moment.  I bet when you do, you will be a totally different person when leaving, then you were when you arrived.

Until next time,

K
