Well, now that Sci-fi on the Rock 8 is over,, I get to sit back and relax a bit and try to write down all the fun and exciting things I’ve seen and done over the weekend.
Mind you that it’s been 3 weeks since all the excitement actually began, but I can honestly say that I felt that this one seemed to flow smoother then previous years. Mind you we still had some things come up that we had to work around, or alter, but it all worked out in the end.
Our guests this year were awesome. This year we had Erin Fitzgerald, Aron Eisenberg, Mike McCarty, Michael Hogan and the lovely Musetta Vander.

All these guest were lovely, fun and hilarious to chat with. The weekend was just too short, wish they were able to stay longer. I got a quick lesson in Qigong. I tell ya right now,, unless your mind is closed, then you’re not giving this a proper chance to work. I was iffy at first, but found the short time I had, it surprised me.
In fact, a few days ago I was having some pain on my right side that just wasn’t going away. Well, not totally anyway, it would come and go. I left it alone all day until I went to bed. I laid there, and thinking of what Ms. Vander said to me, I concentrated on that one place. Within 10 minutes is was gone. And the best part, it hasn’t come back. I know what I’ll be doing on Monday. I may be a totally different woman by the time I’m done. 🙂
I hope they all come back again at some point. If not because of the Sci-Fi event, then if they come here for some vacation. 🙂 There’s so much more of the island they haven’t seen. And for those of us that know just how big Newfoundland is, they will be in for a treat if they do venture back.
I think the best part, albeit sad part too, was when we had to take them back to the airport for their trip home. We didn’t leave right away, we had about an hour (or more) with them, but my daughter didn’t have school that day so she had to come with us. I have pictures of her with each guest, and I want to personally thank you all for not ignoring her. She enjoyed the whole experience, especially the poutine, lol. Though, now when we have it as a treat she will sigh and say,, “I miss Musetta.”
If you get the chance to meet these awesome people, do so, you won’t be disappointed.
Well I’m being summoned by my daughter to watch a movie. I doubt it will be any of the Hobbit movies, I got her drove nuts with them. LOL
Until next time.
