Time flies

June.  Today is the first day of June.  Wait!!  WHAT???

How did this happen?

One moment it felt like I was sending my kids off for their first day of school.  And now, they are almost done.  Seriously, time really did fly.

This year is half over and I still have so much to get done before 2016 rolls in.  One thing of course is my sequel that I’m still writing.  Yes.  I know.  That should’ve been done ages ago.  But you know when you have people out there who goes out of their way to put you down, or to constantly be a thorn in your side, it seems that their voices are the loudest that linger in my head.  I know that I shouldn’t let the haters win.  And that’s what they are,, are haters, jealous little dweebs that’s got nothing better to do than to put others down to make themselves look good.  Well, eventually, their luck will run out and they won’t have anyone else who will want to listen to them constantly put others down.

Luckily I have the most awesome friends out there who are always there when I need a shoulder.  Anyway,, I’m not going to dwell on such matters.  I’m going to move on.  Enough of the drama.

So anyway, about my projects.

Yes, I’m still writing the sequel to my first novel – The One: Love found in unexpected places.  If you’ve read the first one,, rest assured that this one is not so graffic as The One.  LOL.  And there will be a proper ending.  I will be ending off this storyline so I can start on another story idea that keeps screaming around in my head.  So in order for me to get that one written,, I really have to finish off this sequel.

I have a title for it, I have for the longest time now,, but once I’m almost done writing, I’ll share the title, along with it’s cover.  I have a friend who’s willing to do me a new cover for the sequel.  Mainly because the picture I found online, I have no idea who the actual owner is.  And because I don’t need the bad name of ripping someone off of their work, I have decided to ask a friend for a bit of help.  Besides,, I’m not one for taking something that’s not mine and taking credit for it.  Even if I edited it,, I will know it’s not totally mine, and so will the real owner if she or he sees it.  It’s not in my nature.

I know a few of my friends on Twitter are patiently waiting for my new web series to happen.  Don’t worry friends, it will happen.  My co-host and awesome friend is having some time to herself, but no worries,, it will happen.  Though, with the summer holidays upon us, we will most likely aim for September.  Albeit, I haven’t ran that past her yet, so don’t be surprised if I make a small post to update that, 🙂

Anyway,, with my writing, and a highly probable web series happening,, this will prove to be another awesome adventure.  Now if I can keep Oreo off the table and squeezing herself between me and the laptop. LOL.  I love you kitty, but not when I have work to do.  Good thing I know where the keys are that I dont’ have to look at the keyboard when typing.  LOL.

Updates and whatnot…

Yes, I’ve done it again.  I’ve changed the look of my blog to a Christmasy look.  And yes,, I realize it’s only the middle of November,, but that’s cause I will not decorate my house until the middle of December.  I have neighbours now that has their lights on, and decorations out on their lawns.  But I will not be joining them.  Having this stuff up this early is nuts.  And it takes away from the joys of it IMO.  By the time Christmas comes,, I’m tired of seeing all the lights.  But that’s just me.  To each their own.

And yes,,, I realize it’s been a month and a half since I last posted.  I do have other things going on.  Although, I blame that Farm Ville 2 on Facebook.  I’ve been on there more times in a run of 2 months that I’ve lost track of what I’m supposed to be doing.  Do I feel bad?  Hell no.  It’s fun, plus it passes the time.  Do I get housework done?  For the most part – yes.  Not very fast though,, but it does get done.

And then there’s the shopping for gifts for my family and some friends.  I pretty much know what I have to get, and I’m not going to list them out as these people I shop for will no doubtly be reading this.  So in that in mind,, thank you all for standing by my side all these years, and for not letting me quit any projects I’m going.  And for being a shoulder when I needed to vent.  Or to just be silly with.  Some friends will pretend to be there for ya for their benefit.  Those are the ones that I’ll ignore.  Not that I want to, but to the fact that I don’t need the drama they carry with them.  That doesn’t mean that I won’t be here for them,, cause I will.  My door will always be open,, just not to the bullsh*t.

Now on to a more happier update…

I’ve officially started chapter 2 of my sequel.  I know, I know,, IT’S ABOUT BLOODY TIME !!! LOL.  At first I was doubting myself because of that 1 (or 2) hater(s).  Making me doubt myself and my work.  If it wasn’t for one particular friend, I think I would have scrapped the idea and went on to another story idea.  So I will forever be grateful to him.  And of course to my husband, who’s always been by my side in this adventure.  Giving me the encouragement I needed to continue.  Plus informing me of the mounds of co-workers who’s hounding him for the next book, wanting to know what happens. LOL.  I thank each and every one of you for such support.

To the 2 haters,, I want to thank both of you too.  You’re just a constant reminder of why I want to continue my writing.  If you want to keep hating and making others feel like they are in the wrong,, then you’re doing a bang up job.  But you’re the ones looking stupid at the end of the day.  I won’t be naming you, as that’s just what you’re waiting for.  Instead I’ll let ya mold over the fact that your attempt to stop me from doing something that I love and that I’m actually good at has failed.  I’ll be sure to thank you when I’m being interviewed for writing my first Best Seller.  :p

Wow,,, I think this is the most I’ve written in one setting in a very long time.  Other then writing my TV reviews that is,,, they took much longer.  Which is something that I’m hoping to get back into again.  But those will be published on my other site, IN THE KNOW.   Be sure to follow that site too.

Anyway,, I think that’s all that’s on my mind for the moment.  It’s almost 11am and I have yet to start on housework.  🙂
