Looking back and Aiming ahead.

Looking back on this past year and I have to say that it’s been a pretty good one.  Besides the usual birthdays and anniversaries, there was our trip to Cuba, spending time with the kids and planning for upcoming adventures.

There’s also been some down sides to 2014 too.  So this is where 2015 will be different.

I’ll be doing a lot of soul searching this year.  Friends who treat me as a back-up are not my friends.  And weather they read this or not, I don’t care anymore.  You chose who you want to hang out with, so don’t start questioning why people who you were close to are not there any longer.

Will I stop and chat if I see you out and about???  Yes.  I’m not THAT stuck up.  Will I gossip on this one or that??? NO!  If you want to know something, go to that person,, not me.  But just know that I’m not going to sugar coat anything any more.

Some things in 2014 I’ll forget it ever happened.  I want to start 2015 with a clean slate, fresh ideas and REAL friends who are there to support me in what ever I do.

I’ll be spending less time on social media and only posting updates of my adventures on my author page on Facebook (which is linked to my author account on Twitter).  So you can do one or the other,, or both to stay updated.

So, what will I be doing if I’m not online???  I’ll be concentrating on writing my books.  I have the sequel to finish from my first one, and I have a couple others started as well.  And the only way I’ll ever get them published for this year is to stay offline and get it done.

Plus, I’m aiming to write a Best Seller.  It may not happen this year, but it will happen.  With the support I’ve been getting, I know I have a good chance at it.

And speaking of support, I’d like to take this opportunity to do so now.

Besides my husband (and kids), I’d like to thank everyone for putting up with my ramblings on Twitter; the games crap on Facebook (which I know is annoying as hell), and everything in between.  To my inspirational friends for kicking me in the arse on twitter or facebook to do what I’m supposed to be doing.  Dustin Pari, you’re full of awesomeness (and lemon pie 🙂 ).  Alexis Cruz for great chats when I’m bored as hell, 🙂 .  To Roxanna for taking me on some excellent adventures, and giving me some amazing ideas to draw from in my future books 🙂 My BFF.

To Margaret, Kahlil, Champa, Lisa, you girls are amazing. Strong, inspirational and smart women, and I’m thrilled to know you all.

Now seeing as I’m a huge fan of The Hobbit,, it’s only right that I leave you with this little song sung by the awesomely talented Billy Boyd.

Thank you all for following my blog, and for being an awesome support in my life’s journey. XO
