Updates…

Good day everyone.

Today I thought I’d give everyone the heads up as to what my adventures will be in the days and weeks to come.

Well, for the next 2 weeks, I’ll be concentrating on getting as much writing done as possible while the kids are still in school.  Yes, there’s only 2 weeks left and they will be finished school for the summer break and therefore will interrupt my writing.

Mind you, I won’t be abandoning writing altogether for the two and half months they have during the summer break.  I’ll be taking every moment I have to add more words to the screen as I can to get this accomplished.

What’s the date for my books to be finally published?  Answer to that is,, Not a friggen clue. LOL

I try to give myself due dates and they all fail.  Miserably.  So the only thing I can tell everyone is,, have patience and send me all the luck you can to help get this done.

No, that’s not a typo.  I did say books.  I’m courageously  writing 2 of them at the same time.  Not sure if that’s clever or insane.  Either way, I’m about on par with both of them, so instead of only having the one book done and published,, I will most likely have both books ready for my readers.

The one thing I’m definitely looking into though as I’m writing these is an agent to help me promote and keep me on track with the writing-to-publishing deadlines.  Frankly I suck at promotion.  Especially for myself.  I’m awesome with getting the word out there to help others with their projects, movies, tv shows, whatever they have on the go.  But I’m really bad at my own accomplishments.  Maybe I should take a page out of J.K. Rowling’s book on not giving up.  I might actually get somewhere with it.

As for the 2 months of summer vacation, that’s a whole other list of things right there.  I’ll be camping with my family, visiting friends who we missed last time and writing.  I’ll either be taking the laptop with me, or doing it the old fashioned way – pencil & paper.

So I’ll be trying to focus more onto the writing bit.  I do have access to my various social media sites for communication with friends (or anyone who leaves me a message for that matter).  I have an author Facebook page and Twitter.  I also have a comments section here on this site for those of you who wish to send me messages (or you can comment to any post I’ve made).  I also have Instagram if you wish to follow me on there as well.

So starting tomorrow I’ll be MIA for a while until I get these projects done.  But like I said, those options I have highlighted above are the only ways to reach me.  I’ll still be writing my occasional post here and there, so I’m not that far away from you all, 🙂
