Well apparently nothing exciting happened during the whole month of July that warranted me to not write about it.
It’s funny actually. I could be on the phone and talk to friends for hours on end, but to write a simple blog about my adventures eludes me. LOL.
So, besides the last day of school for my kids, as well as my oldest going to his graduation, we’ve launched our boat about 15 minutes away to get it ready for the food fishery. Have to stock up on fish for the winter.
Then we made a list if things or places we wanted to see or visit on our camping trip. Which didn’t happen due to crappy weather. But we have awesome friends who took us in for the 4 days that we were supposed to be roughing it. And with hubby back to work now, we might have to wait for a long weekend to go camping in the tent.
As much as the kids (and yes, me too) love our tech, camping was one thing that we loved doing to unplug from social media and connect with each other. Then again, we can do that at any time really, if we put our minds to it.
I certainly need to unplug if I’m going to get any amount of writing done. And this being the 2nd of August, I really need to summon more willpower to stay offline long enough to get both books done.
Yes, I said both. And I know I’ve blogged about the fact that I’m writing 2 stories at the same time. I’m either insane or smart. The jury’s still out on that one. LOL
Either way, I’ll try to keep everyone up to date with what I’m doing. If you are interested that is. But in any case, off I go to get more chapters written. I’m on chapter 5 of the sequel and chapter 5 of the other one. I still have a ways to go with the other one, but I don’t think the sequel will have as many pages as the first. But I’m hoping to stretch it out. Gotta love Microsoft Word. It helps me with any editing or typos that I miss the first time around.
Anyway, until next time.
Have a great day.

Food Fishery…that brings back memories…used to go with my parents as a child when I was growing up in Upstate NY. I think we called it a fish hatchery back then. :-))
There are a couple of places here that has a few fish farms, but it’s not for the fish we’re after. Nothing like fresh cod just caught for supper, 🙂
