Countdown begins…

Actually the countdown has begun a few months ago,,, my countdown to the 3rd and final movie from The Hobbit trilogy – The Battle of the Five Armies.  I’m so excited too.  And a little sad.  Not looking forward to what happens in the end.  And no,, I wouldn’t have known what to watch out for if I didn’t stumble across the spoiler from a commenter for a clip on YouTube.  Gee, thanks a lot.  Have I even read the books???  No.  I only knew the movies.  Well, that’s a lie,, I knew about the books,, I just never read them PRIOR to watching any of the films.

Do I have the books?  Yes.

Have I read them since THE LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy?  Nope.

Will I read them?  Well duh.  But finding time to read the books and trying to write my own is proving to be quite the challenge.

Albeit, playing games on facebook is not helping either.  Which is why I’ve made a deal with myself that as of January 1st, I’m going to concentrate more on the writing, and less to online stuff.

Will I still be blogging???  Yes.  Of course I will.  In fact, if you liked my Facebook Author Page, all my posts I write in here will be sent there.  Unless you signed up for an email alert.  Otherwise, I’ll be pretty much disappeared from the online scene.

If I want people to take me seriously as a writer, I need to take this step to make my main goal a reality.  What is that you ask?  I want to write a best seller.  Something that may one day be produced into a movie.  That would be my ultimate dream come true.

Although, I have yet to announce it on Facebook or Twitter for that matter.  But I know my friends will understand.  They have been my biggest supporters in this endeavour.  And for that I’ll always be truly grateful to each and every one of them.  ❤ ❤ ❤

Updates and whatnot…

Yes, I’ve done it again.  I’ve changed the look of my blog to a Christmasy look.  And yes,, I realize it’s only the middle of November,, but that’s cause I will not decorate my house until the middle of December.  I have neighbours now that has their lights on, and decorations out on their lawns.  But I will not be joining them.  Having this stuff up this early is nuts.  And it takes away from the joys of it IMO.  By the time Christmas comes,, I’m tired of seeing all the lights.  But that’s just me.  To each their own.

And yes,,, I realize it’s been a month and a half since I last posted.  I do have other things going on.  Although, I blame that Farm Ville 2 on Facebook.  I’ve been on there more times in a run of 2 months that I’ve lost track of what I’m supposed to be doing.  Do I feel bad?  Hell no.  It’s fun, plus it passes the time.  Do I get housework done?  For the most part – yes.  Not very fast though,, but it does get done.

And then there’s the shopping for gifts for my family and some friends.  I pretty much know what I have to get, and I’m not going to list them out as these people I shop for will no doubtly be reading this.  So in that in mind,, thank you all for standing by my side all these years, and for not letting me quit any projects I’m going.  And for being a shoulder when I needed to vent.  Or to just be silly with.  Some friends will pretend to be there for ya for their benefit.  Those are the ones that I’ll ignore.  Not that I want to, but to the fact that I don’t need the drama they carry with them.  That doesn’t mean that I won’t be here for them,, cause I will.  My door will always be open,, just not to the bullsh*t.

Now on to a more happier update…

I’ve officially started chapter 2 of my sequel.  I know, I know,, IT’S ABOUT BLOODY TIME !!! LOL.  At first I was doubting myself because of that 1 (or 2) hater(s).  Making me doubt myself and my work.  If it wasn’t for one particular friend, I think I would have scrapped the idea and went on to another story idea.  So I will forever be grateful to him.  And of course to my husband, who’s always been by my side in this adventure.  Giving me the encouragement I needed to continue.  Plus informing me of the mounds of co-workers who’s hounding him for the next book, wanting to know what happens. LOL.  I thank each and every one of you for such support.

To the 2 haters,, I want to thank both of you too.  You’re just a constant reminder of why I want to continue my writing.  If you want to keep hating and making others feel like they are in the wrong,, then you’re doing a bang up job.  But you’re the ones looking stupid at the end of the day.  I won’t be naming you, as that’s just what you’re waiting for.  Instead I’ll let ya mold over the fact that your attempt to stop me from doing something that I love and that I’m actually good at has failed.  I’ll be sure to thank you when I’m being interviewed for writing my first Best Seller.  :p

Wow,,, I think this is the most I’ve written in one setting in a very long time.  Other then writing my TV reviews that is,,, they took much longer.  Which is something that I’m hoping to get back into again.  But those will be published on my other site, IN THE KNOW.   Be sure to follow that site too.

Anyway,, I think that’s all that’s on my mind for the moment.  It’s almost 11am and I have yet to start on housework.  🙂
