Something new!!!

Yes, I changed things up a bit in here.  If you don’t know me by now, I tend to give my personal blog a facelift from time to time.  Especially when WordPress announces they have some new themes.  I love changing it, though, I have yet to find that one theme that fits me perfectly.  I figure it will happen eventually.

Anyway, back to the reason for this blog.  And yes I realize it’s been a while since I actually wrote anything.  I’ve been kinda busy.  And I tell ya, you will all understand why.

First of all, we (hubby and I) are getting closer to our vacation date.  This year we are going to Cuba.  And with all this snow we’re getting, it’s not coming fast enough. :).  I can’t wait either.

Secondly, I FINALLY have my book published.  I have to thank everyone who supported me in this journey and especially to the two who helped with the book itself.  You know who you are. xoxoxo

What convention you may ask??  It’s Scifi on the Rock and it’s the 7th one.  That’s another reason why I haven’t written in here.  Just busy with getting last minute details finalized before the big day.  If you never heard of Scifi on the Rock, then visit our site and check out what’s in store for everyone this year.

Updates of this and that.

Well, it’s only 13 days left until Christmas.  Less then that for my birthday.  And a few extra days till there’s another big announcement concerning Scifi on the Rock.  Now it’s no good to ask, I’m not telling. But it’s gonna be HUGE!!!

Then there’s a Cuba trip that I’m excited to be taking with hubby in March.  I’d have the suitcases packed already, but I need them for a couple of nights at the hotel where hubby works for his Christmas party.

Then if things work out, I’ll need them again for a trip out home for a baymen Christmas with the family.  I wanted to do this a while now, but it never seemed to work out.  I’m hoping that my hubby will get the time off that we need so we can have our kids experience what Christmas was like for us when we were little.

So I’ll be packing for the trip in January.  I’ll be rushing for sure.  Though, I know some people don’t pack until the day before.  I can’t do that.  I know me,, there will be something that I’ll forget,, no doubt about that.  So for me, January is cutting it close, LOL

Then there’s the script I’m writing.  Still only got 7 pages written.  But what I do have done, it’s gonna be awesome.  I’ll try and get it done hopefully before the New Year, but the chances of that is unlikely.  But it won’t be far off.

Anyway, that’s it for now.  I’m sure, if anything pops up, I’ll update you all.
