September updates,,,,

Wow!!!  September, where did you go??

A month is gone, and it only feels like the kids have been in school for a few days.  I guess when things are going great, time seems to take off.

September brought me a few ups and downs.  But now it’s time to move on from that,, learn from it and carry on.

I know I sound like I’m repeating myself here, but I’m going to really try to type something each day,,, even if it’s just a quote from someone inspirational.  And trust me,, I have many people who  I look up to.  Some are my friends,, others are aquantiances.  OK,, most are aquantiances.  But they are awesome people and I appreciate them each day.

As for my sequel.  Yes, I’m still writing it.  Even though I got that one hater who left a review for the first one questioning weather I should finish the story at all.  But, after talking with a few friends,, one in particular, he’s told me that you’re not successful until you have haters.  He congratulated me in having my first one.  Though, I doubt this hater will stop.  I started rethinking if I should continue with the sequel because of this cowardly person.  But that will only let them win,,, so I’m continuing with the storyline, so I can end it off.  Then I can start another book that I have in mind to write.  I’m even going to take some of my life’s experiences and incoorporate it into the book.

Congratulations dear hater.  Only thing you have succeeded on was to motivate me to continue doing what I enjoy doing… writing stories.  I’m just sad for you that you feel the need to put others down to make yourself feel good.

But I won’t dwell,, “And we’re walking.”  :p

Anyway,, I have to head off now.  Not much of an update for September.  Sorry about that,, but I’ll make a better effort from this point on.

Until tomorrow.

New Beginnings

Usually to start something new, or make a fresh start is done in January, right in the new year.  Well, my typical fresh starts start when the kids go back to school and I have to get back into the routine of getting up early, making lunches while having a cuppa tea, and checking Facebook, Twitter and my emails before getting kids up for the day.  Mind you, this year started off a tad rocky, but I’m hoping that come Monday, the start of a full week of school for them, will mean a full week of concentrating on things that I need to do for me.

Mind you, I will probably need the first couple of days setting up some sort of routine for myself.  I dispise housework. But I know that I have to do it.  And so I’ll drag my feet, and try and kick me arse up off the chair and get things done.  You never really know how fast time flies until you sit down with your tea, in front of the laptop, look down at the time — 8:15am,, then the next thing you know, the front door pops open and there’s one of your kids coming home again.

If you’re new to following me,, WELCOME!!  To those of you who have been with me for a long time,,, I’m soooooooooooo sorry, LOL.

I keep changing the look of this blog – mainly cause I can’t find one that SCREAMS at me.  So I’ll play around with the ones that’s available (which are usually the free ones).  And I keep saying that I’m going to write every day.  Well,, I’ve failed on that terribly.  That tends to happen a lot,,,, I figure if someone like Joe Mallozzi can do it,, so can I.  But then again,, something “shiny” will come across my mind and,,, well,,, you know the rest.

I’m also considering on posting some video blogs on here too, via my YouTube channel.  It might cut down the typing time of letting y’all know how my day is going,, has gone,, or if I’m still in zombie mode and haven’t had my cuppa tea yet. 🙂

So I’ll cut this short,, and just say that I HOPE to return again tomorrow (at some point) and either say something comical, deep, or meaningful.

Until next time,

K, xo
